Tunnicliffe Scores As Under-21s See Off Tottenham Hotspur

Ryan Tunnicliffe scored the only goal of the game as Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at the Salford City Stadium.

An eventful game in which Manchester United were mostly on top in an impressive performance.

Adnan Januzaj and Jesse Lingard were United’s stand-out players along with the goal-scorer Ryan Tunnicliffe.

The young reds kept yet another clean sheet to move above rivals Liverpool into second place in the table.

The fixture was the first one that the young red devils have played at the Salford City Stadium in a rumoured full-time move there next season as no more fixtures are forecast at Moss Lane this season.
